Consultant in Financial Inclusion and G2P Payments

Caroline is an independent consultant on G2P Payments, associated with BFA. She has a specialized on working with donors, governments, and the private sector to deliver more efficient and financially inclusive payment arrangements for cash transfer programs. She was involved in the design and implementation of the payment mechanism for the Hunger Safety Net Programme in Kenya on behalf of FSD Kenya. She has 15 years of experience in financial services, in which the last seven years she has focused on increasing financial inclusion in developing countries. She has worked in Africa (Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Mozambique, and South Africa) and Asia (Nepal and India). In Kenya, where she is based, she has also been involved in mobile payments, in particular with M-PESA and financial education initiatives.
