Senior Policy Consultant at CGAP and BFA Senior Associate

Jamie contributes to BFA’s work on G2P and “going cash lite” and leads a global research and policy development program aimed at innovation in financial inclusion and asset building for the poor at the New America Foundation. Her work includes electronic payments and asset building opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of G2P programs. To that end, she organized and facilitated the first ever global colloquium on Savings and Social Protection at the Ford Foundation in 2010, and has since authored seven policy papers and over a dozen articles on the topic. She has also been responsible for building the Global Savings and Social Protection (GSSP) database that identifies trends toward and the potential for financial inclusion through G2P worldwide. She has also conducted extensive field research on G2P in Kenya, the Philippines, and India.
