Coleman is a part-time Operations Assistant with BFA Global working closely with the Finance & Operations and Human Resources teams to ensure efficient employee onboarding, technology & software management, and general organizational support, as needed. Coleman has previously held operational positions as the General Manager of ASCEND Pittsburgh focusing on community and employee engagement and facilitating the definition of organizational sustainability and resilience to ensure the long-term viability of the business. Coleman has also worked in project management processes within the industrial chemical industry as an R&D Chemist.
Coleman is currently working to attain an MS in Resilient and Sustainable Communities degree through Prescott College, emphasizing the inclusive and democratic decision-making process through better bottom-up facilitation at the community and municipal levels. Coleman is also interested in community wealth building through innovative economic development solutions that prioritize collaboration, inclusivity, and local, democratic control.
