Mercy is a Program Manager at BFA Global. She has worked in Enterprise Development and Economic Strengthening, Livelihoods, and Resilience programming. Her work has mainly focused on MSME development, financial inclusion, youth employability, employment inclusion of Persons with Disabilities, skills training, and acquisition in Eastern Africa. She also has experience in Education, Food Security and Agribusiness, Water and Sanitation, Gender Equality and Gender Mainstreaming, Health and Nutrition, Sexual and Reproductive Health, Governance, Peace Building, and Conflict Management.

Mercy has worked with International and Local NGOs in Development and Emergency programming in Kenya, Sudan, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and D.R. Congo. She has also worked as a part-time lecturer in the Department of Political Science teaching Diplomacy, International Relations, Gender and Politics, and Political Economy at Pwani University and also as a part-time lecturer in the Department of Economics at the School of Business and Economics at Daystar University for the past ten years. Mercy holds a Master’s degree in International Studies from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Nairobi.
