As a fast-food restaurant that must cater to communities at any time of day, I have observed how extreme heat impacts our food storage, accessibility to consumers, and even consumers’ psychological pressure to access food when they consider the heat. Eng. Chiedozie Overcomer C. is a visionary product developer and the founder of Waste Resolution, a pioneering social enterprise focused on building a circular economy for SME’S in Nigeria. Leveraging his Master’s expertise in Renewable Energy, he transforms discarded electronic waste (e-waste) into reliable, cost-effective lithium-ion battery banks and solar solutions for underserved SMEs. Chiedozie has successfully guided the organization from prototype to a revenue-generating model, securing initial seed funding and installing 10 functional solar systems. His work directly addresses energy poverty and environmental waste, making him a leading voice in sustainable energy innovation.
