Yvonne Muyia

Yvonne is a marine conservationist based in Shimoni - Kwale County, Kenya. She is currently the Project Coordinator at the Coral Reef Restoration at REEFolution Foundation. Her main area of interest is the co-management of marine resources and how it continues to influence the perception of immediate resource users (coastal communities) conservation and sustainable use of these resources. She holds a BSc in Environment Management and Conservation from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, a certificate in Introduction to Forest Restoration from the Yale School of Environment and a Certificate in Large Marine Ecosystems: Assessment and Management from the University of Cape Town.
