Tsion is Ethiopian data science, machine learning, and entrepreneurship enthusiast from Carnegie Mellon University Africa with a background in Electrical and Computer Engineering. She previously worked at Huawei Technologies as a Product Manager and Websprix IT Solutions as a Software and Network Engineer. She is currently most passionate about solving the challenges Africa has using the power of data. More than ever, she wants to apply her skills to existing problems. She thinks that data is the new gold, and that leveraging data for the development of the world through data-driven decisions is what Africa and the world at large require at this time.
