Nomso Opara is a Product Manager, supporting Jobtech and TECA startups to define product strategies, improve their product offering based on identified users' needs, and ultimately move Jobtech and TECA startups closer to product market fit. Nomso is a Product Leader with over 15 years of leading successful product discovery, development, and growth for Fintech, Edtech and E-commerce startups and Fortune 500 businesses.
Before joining BFA Global, he was the Senior Product Manager at TD Bank - VISA cross-border money transfer initiative, catering to about 20 million monthly active users. He was a product consultant for various clientele and teams in Nigeria and Canada, including the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and Shell Oil. Recently, he was the Head of Product at a fast-growing African Fintech startup. He also co-founded Vessels Africa (exited in 2020) - a maritime logistics marketplace providing efficiencies in the Nigerian oil and gas supply chain.
He is an alumnus of the University of Port Harcourt, the University of Pretoria and Niagara College Canada.
