Jayson is an Analyst at BFA Global’s Catalyst Fund, a global accelerator program supported by JPMorgan Chase & Co., FCDO, and PayPal, which supports early-stage inclusive fintech startups focused on creating innovative solutions for underserved customers in emerging markets. Jayson is playing a key role in supporting the Catalyst Fund’s venture-building activities as well as deal tracking, portfolio fundraising support and managing relationships with the partners and circle of investors (CoIs).
Prior to joining Catalyst Fund, Jayson worked at Profectus Capital as an Investment Analyst, managing the lifecycle from market studies and analysis to deal sourcing, vetting, building and managing investor relationships, and supporting companies with polishing their pitch decks and data analysis. Most recently, he was a Venture Capital Fellow at Enza Capital. As a fellow, he participated in the firm’s investment process, specifically in the initial review of investment deals, industry deep dive, and competitive analysis. He also participated in developing an Investment Thesis in the digital skills training space in Africa.
Jayson holds a First Class Honors in Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Electrical and Power Systems Engineering from the African Leadership University (Mauritius).
