Peter is the Executive Director, Partnerships and Growth at BFA Global. He is responsible for developing innovative pathways for impact at scale by advancing new service offerings and strengthening global partnerships.
Across a 15-year career in more than 25 countries, Peter has served as an advisor, entrepreneur, executive, and thought leader in financial inclusion, climate adaptation and resilience, and social business strategy and scale. Most recently, he led CGAP’s efforts to clarify product and financing recommendations for global microfinance players to adapt to climate change.
Prior to this, he served as AXA’s Head of Global Partnerships, co-founded Turaco, a leading inclusive insurance group, and built and scaled a mobile insurance business with MicroEnsure that reached 30m customers. His technical expertise includes business development, scaling impact, and innovation, particularly in inclusive finance and climate adaptation and resilience.
Peter holds an MBA from Emory University, a BA/MA from Oxford University, and a BA from Davidson College. He is conversant in English and Spanish.
