Tochi is a Consulting Associate at BFA Global. She works at the intersection of entrepreneurship development and access to finance, collaborating with impact funds, institutional capital allocators, and multilateral agencies to channel funding into high-impact enterprises across Africa.
Her expertise spans financial services, venture capital, and enterprise development, built over a career that began in pensions and investment banking before progressing into senior commercial and brand leadership roles at AB InBev, and later serving as Deputy Managing Director of the Oxford Seed Fund. As a founder herself, she brings a practitioner's perspective to venture building, entrepreneurship support, and ecosystem development.
Some of her previous projects include initiatives backed by leading development and philanthropic organizations. Most recently, she served as the local implementation partner for the annual USD 2 million develoPPP Ventures program supported by GIZ. She currently serves as Project Director for a financial literacy pilot for women micro and small entrepreneurs (MSEs) in Nigeria, an initiative backed by the Visa Foundation.
Tochi holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics (Hons) and an MBA from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. She has also completed executive education programs in business, finance, and leadership at Harvard Business School and INSEAD (Asia campus), respectively.
