About the Role
The Assistant Manager, HR Operations plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality, efficient, and compliant HR operations across BFA Global. This role combines hands-on execution with process ownership, coordination, and continuous improvement. You will act as a trusted operations partner to employees, managers, Finance, and the broader HR team ensuring consistency, accuracy, and strong employee experience across geographies. The role requires strong judgment, operational rigor, and the ability to independently manage multiple HR workstreams end to end.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Service Delivery
- Own end-to-end HR operational processes, including contracts, letters, onboarding, offboarding, and employee documentation
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of HR records across systems and files
- Coordinate payroll inputs, benefits administration, and employee data changes in collaboration with Finance and external vendors
- Oversee timesheet processes, ensure timely and accurate submissions, and resolve discrepancies
- Manage leave, attendance, and policy adherence across global teams, escalating issues where needed
Recruitment Operations & Hiring Support
- Manage recruitment operations end-to-end, including job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and tracking
- Act as the primary operational liaison between hiring managers, candidates, and interview panels
- Maintain and improve standardized recruitment templates (JDs, offers, interview trackers, contracts)
- Support employer branding and talent pipeline initiatives in coordination with the HR and communications teams
Employee Experience & HR Support
- Serve as the first escalation point for HR operational queries across regions
- Coordinate and continuously improve onboarding experiences (IT setup, inductions, documentation, welcome processes)
- Support employee engagement initiatives, internal communications, and HR-led events
- Track probation confirmations, performance check-ins, mandatory trainings, and follow-ups with managers
Compliance, Policies & Risk Management
- Support compliance with employment laws, statutory requirements, and internal HR policies across operating countries
- Maintain up-to-date HR policies, SOPs, checklists, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate contract renewals, visa/work permit documentation, and global employment compliance processes
- Flag HR operational risks and compliance gaps proactively to HR leadership
Systems, Tools & Process Improvement
- Act as a primary owner of HR systems (HRIS, ATS, payroll interfaces, trackers)
- Identify inefficiencies and lead improvements to workflows, documentation, and standard operating procedures
- Support automation and digitization initiatives to improve accuracy, turnaround time, and employee experience
HR Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare and review monthly HR dashboards (headcount, joiners/leavers, recruitment status, compliance metrics)
- Maintain core HR trackers: leave, recruitment, contracts, timesheets, and HR risk logs
- Provide accurate and timely reports to HR leadership, Finance, and senior management as required

Experience & Qualifications
- 6–8 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Generalist, or People Services roles
- Prior experience in a global or multi-country environment strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of HR operations, employment documentation, and compliance requirements
- Demonstrated experience owning HR processes and improving systems or workflows
Anticipated Start Date: Immediate
