Akansha is the Communications & Marketing Manager for BFA Global’s Catalyst Fund. She works with regional chapters to help build the innovation ecosystem for the program and supports the implementation of Catalyst Fund’s marketing initiatives and digital marketing strategy. Previously, Akansha led strategy and marketing for the OPTIX project, designed by BFA Global and MetLife Foundation to help four microfinance institutions across the globe better serve their low-income customers. Prior to joining BFA Global, she worked as a Marketing Communication Officer with Smile Foundation, a national level NGO in India, with several livelihood programs and welfare initiatives. Before moving to the development sector, she worked with Zomato, a unicorn startup, as part of their external communication and product team. She holds a BA in English Literature from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University (India).
