Ankita is the Research and Impact Lead at BFA Global. She is responsible for leading BFA Global's evidence, learning, and measurement agenda across programs, building actionable insights rooted in evidence, and embedding learning into program design, ventures, and advisory work.
Ankita brings 15 years of experience in research, monitoring, evaluation, and learning to design solutions for development challenges. She has led and executed complex research designs in low-income contexts in Asia and Africa, identifying research priorities, developing comprehensive measurement plans, and delivering action-oriented insights that inform program interventions.
Most recently, she led the research and insights vertical of the Financial Health Program at UNCDF, where she used behavioral insights to help design programs that enhance the financial lives of gig workers and women entrepreneurs. Ankita specializes in mixed-methods research, impact evaluations, and project management in inclusive finance, rural livelihoods, and women's economic empowerment.
Her technical expertise includes designing and executing exploratory and evaluative research assignments, conducting landscape data analysis, and unboxing insights to develop solutions that work for low-income populations.
Ankita holds an MBA in Rural Management from Xavier University, India, and a BA in economics from Delhi University. She is conversant in English and Hindi.
