Edu is the Mexico Country Manager at BFA Global's Catalyst Fund for inclusive fintech startups in emerging markets. He is an impact-driven business and product designer professional who has worked with over 100 social enterprises across Latin America.

Prior to joining BFA Global, Edu led the largest acceleration program for social and environmental startups at New Ventures, where he also designed a program for organizations trying to break the cycles of delinquency and recidivism in Mexico. His areas of expertise include business design, impact measurement, and inclusive go-to-market strategies. During his MBA at HEC Paris, Edu led research on impact investing in 40+ countries at the Global Steering Group for Impact Investing and graduated with a capstone project on Liquidity Mechanisms for Early-Stage Impact Investing. He also holds a Certificate of Professional Achievement in Business from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree from Tec de Monterrey.
