BFA Global worked with the Ministry of Finance and other stakeholders to draft a national Digital Financial Services policy for the Republic of Ghana in the context of its National Financial Inclusion Strategy. We benchmarked DFS policies in similar countries, prepared an initial draft of the policy that was presented to the Ministry of Finance, and based on stakeholder feedback, delivered a final policy. With the issuance of the DFS policy, the Ministry of Finance was able to complete one of the pillars of its National Financial Inclusion Strategy, bringing it closer to reaching its goal of increasing access to formal financial services for the adult population from 58% to 75% by 2023.
