GSMA commissioned BFA Global to conduct a market study in Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Burkina Faso, Senegal and Cote d’Ivoire to identify potential gains that can be achieved by facilitating P2G payments via mobile money and the respective models used to facilitate such payments in the countries of interest. The study comprised desk review and interviews with Orange, government ministries, agencies and departments, as well as technology providers.
