Meet the iWorkers – Joseph

Joseph, an Accra, Ghana-based entrepreneur sat down with the iWorker Project to discuss why he decided to leave a corporate job to start his own business, J-Classy, which he generates sales for through online platforms and social media. He chose to start his business online as opposed to in a brick-and-mortar largely due to lack of funds. Business has been good, and Joseph now earns three to four times more than he did as a corporate employee. Despite the significant increase in his income, he still faces regular challenges related to customer trust and loyalty, online competition, and transportation/logistics.
