Starting in 2015, under the OPTIX project we worked with SAJIDA Foundation, an MFI-NGO in Bangladesh to identify and implement strategies that help them serve their low-income customers better by improving their financial health. In order to do that, we worked out five pathways that would impact three target areas of financial health: 1. financial trust, 2. financial confidence and, 3. financial control.

Along with the implementation of these pathways, we also wanted to help make these financial institutions data-driven in their decision making. This included change-management at the institution level, and several staff trainings so the field staff would feel comfortable communicating with their customers better. Watch this video to know more about how SAJIDA Foundation is now doing business differently!
