Improving Financial Health of People in Bangladesh

OPTIX worked with SAJIDA Foundation, a microfinance institution in Bangladesh, whose low-income customers were looking for a reliable credit and savings product that would meet the short- and long-term goals for their families and businesses. The two initiatives Rocket mobile money repayment solution, along with the Astha savings account, together attracted over 15,000 customers to SAJIDA foundation. In talking to Liza, she made it clear that she now works with confidence, ambition, and determination “to do something great in life”. She, along with thousands of other customers, are on their journeys to improve their financial well-being through better control and an improved range of financial products as a result of this project. As Liza put it for us, being a Bangladeshi woman and a woman entrepreneur “is her most important identity today”.
